How we need to connect back to our Mom’s, grandmoms and their moms?
After all..you’re a woman!!!!!
I over-heard a conversation between a couple, where the husbands(In front of his family members) shouts at his wife showing her place in the kitchen and blatantly kicking in her stomach. I was shocked to see, but neither did I stop him nor did I console the poor lady. I’ve heard this over a million times by now, everywhere.
My memories scroll back to the times when I was a kid and read a lot about amazing women who have, despite being in an abusive environment, made remarkable changes in the history books and many lives like me.
I want to draw attention to my favorite women:
Maharani Laxmibai:
- Fight for our family to the extent of loosing our lives also
- Love our family to the extent of loosing our sleep, food and peace too
- Be prepared always to protect them
- Binding the family with flesh love and blood
- Sometimes forgetting what we are for them
Kalpana Chawla:
- Capable of hard work and persistent labor
- Kalpana Chawla often feels burdened by life’s demands and responsibilities-but still tries to be happy
- Become a sophisticated adult whose practicality and realism squeeze out the playful, imaginative side of life
- Capacity to express her uniqueness and to stand out in a crowd
P.V Sindhu:
- PV Sindhu’s struggle with consistency: Analysing the shortcomings in ace shuttler’s game
- she has consistently shown herself to be inconsistent
- She has a positive attitude and aggressive spirit
Conclusion
“Yatra Naryanti Pujyante, Tatra Ramanti Devtaha ||”
Meaning – Even Gods like to be in those places where women are worshiped (‘respected’ in this case).
Let’s go back to the times when women were worshipped, respected and treated with love.

At the End, I want to ask you-
What is that one thing that connects’ your Mom’s, Grandma’s and their Mom’s to you?
